Fantastic
BnB Pier d Luna is an amazing place to stay if you enjoy going off the beaten track and are a more independent and adventurous traveller. If you want a 5 star hotel with a concierge then this is not the place for you but if you want to get to know the owner and staff that work with him and get under the skin of Acapulco then you will love it. We stayed in the Kingsize room which was very spacious and had a lovely large bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious but there was no choice - so if you are a fussy eater - again this may not be the place for you. The evening meals cooked by the chef were also excellent and very good value - but there is no menu. There is an honesty bar. The lounge area is very stylish and the pool and terrace lovely. Great views over the bay and fantastic sunsets. The owner Jean Pierre was very helpful and even gave us lifts to places when he was doing his daily errands. We were the only guests during our stay which suited us and we both really enjoyed our time at Pier d Luna. The staff Beto and Tanya are delightful also.
The only thing that is worth mentioning is that there are not many good places to eat in the close vicinity. If you do want to eat in on the day of your arrival you do need to let the owner you would like dinner. The alternative is a taxi to the other side of Acapulco or a take out pizza.

Exceptional
The breakfast was extensive with three courses. The view from the property is fantastic, you could look at the changing colours all day. The property owners are very friendly and knowledgable and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
